This has been such an adventure. When the thought of traveling to Israel came about, I have to admit I was doubtful. But here I am, passport in hand, packing, planning, praying, waiting... I am almost ready to leave and I have this feeling in my gut that nothing will ever be the same. And it won't. I will be in "The Center of the Universe" where Jesus walked and taught and loved and died. And where, today, people fight over with their lives. I want to say before I leave, thank you. I know so many of you have been praying for me and it means the world to me. And for those who supported me financially, what a blessing. This has been the highlight of my experience so far. Experiencing God's love through you has been so humbling and affirming. I hope to keep you updated pretty regularly as we leave and then as we serve there in Bethlehem. I don't have much to share yet because I really have no idea what to expect!

ReplyDeleteI am so excited for what God is going to show you in His land. You are right when you say that you will never be the same again. I love you and am praying for you as His Word changes from black and white to living color!
